How do I become a Member of the Support Group?

Why become a member:
The families who have children diagnosed with 22q13 Deletion Syndrome have more in common than just having a child with a disability. Our families have their own special needs - the need to have the emotional support of other families that are going through the same unique daily challenges. We are an exclusive group since there are less than 300 members worldwide. Our closest connection isn't at our child's school. It may be hundreds or even thousands miles away. That is why membership is so vital to our families.

New Members:
To become a member of the 22q13 Deletion Foundation Support Group, you will need to contact your Regional Membership Committee Representative. Please locate your State or Country below and click on your contact.

Please include the following in your email:

  • Name of parents
  • Email
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Child’s name and date of birth (22q13 del)
  • Child’s Karyotype (exact diagnosis)

Member Benefits:
Registration and Membership is free. Once registered, your regional representative will subscribe you to receive our free quarterly newsletter through the Foundation, called the 22q13 Deletion UPDATE. Your representative will also provide you with a parenting booklet written by one of our parent members, help you get in contact with other families in your region and answer any questions you may have.
